Updated: Jan 8, 2019

New Patio Area Is Popular Gathering Area for Raintree Residents

Raintree Square recently dedicated its new back patio area to honor Steve Wray, who has served Raintree Square since 2010 and as administrator since 2015. The celebration included music from the Brown family, a snack buffet, and a special presentation.

Featured speakers included Jameson McGrew, past board member and current resident; Phyllis Denney, who will celebrate 30 years with Raintree Square next year; and Marcy Brown, from the activities department. Cindy Brooks, Office Manager presented Steve Wray with a plaque honoring his faith, vision, hard work, and dedication. Activities Director Chris Sitler gave a blessing over the new patio area.

The patio area includes a gazebo, small pond and water fountain, and additional outdoor seating. The Raintree Square staff worked with Pro Green Indiana on the landscaping and water feature for the patio.

“The residents at Raintree Square have been enjoying the patio area already this summer,” shared Cindy Brooks. “It was a joy to surprise Steve by dedicating the area to him. He has helped to create a loving community here at Raintree Square.”
